In my experience, it varies a lot. Close range with a shotgun? Boom, one shot. Far away with an SMG? Could take a whole clip.

Depends on the weapon and where you hit! A headshot with a sniper can be a one-shot kill, but SMGs might need a few more bullets.

Usually, it takes around 3-4 shots with an assault rifle to down someone with no armor. Armor changes everything though!
