Naruto has 90 filler episodes out of its 220, while Naruto Shippuden has 205 filler episodes out of its 500. So, in total, it's 295 filler episodes! Time to skip some arcs!

Based on my experience, many filler episodes in both series flesh out the world quite a bit, but if you're looking for the main story, Naruto has 90 filler episodes and Naruto Shippuden has 205. That's a lot of extra content!
