There's a boatload of them! Wizards of the Coast (WOTC) produced Pokemon cards from 1999 to 2003. In that time, they released around 53 sets if you count promotional sets, which adds up to a few thousand cards. So, you're looking at a mountain of nostalgia in card form.

Exact numbers are tricky since WOTC churned out thousands of cards across numerous sets, including base sets and promos. The ballpark is somewhere in the thousands, with more than 50 sets under their belt.

Less than you'd think but more than you can count on two hands! Wizards of the Coast was at the helm for a good chunk of the early Pokemon TCG days, so there's a lot, but not an infinite amount.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
