How much damage on a Funko Pop is too much?

Honestly, it really depends on what you're in it for. If you're a hardcore collector aiming for value, even a tiny scratch or dent on the box can be a big deal. If the box looks like it survived a toddler's birthday party, that's way too much. But if you're just collecting for fun and plan on displaying them out of the box, a little wear and tear on the packaging won't hurt. As long as the figure itself isn't missing any pieces or looks like it's been in a fight with a cat, you're probably good.

As a long-time collector, I've seen my share of 'battle scars' on Funko Pops. From my experience, box condition is king for value. A mint box can skyrocket the price. Any serious damage, especially to the front or corners, can significantly lower a Pop's value. However, if you're not looking to sell, it's all about if YOU like looking at it. Slight box damage? Meh, it's fine. But if the Pop itself is damaged, that's where I draw the line. Missing pieces or heavy scuffs can ruin the aesthetic.

If you're a Funko Pop player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
