Pokemon card prices in Japan can vary a lot depending on rarity and whether they are part of a special edition or a regular set. Generally, regular packs might start from around 150 yen, but special or limited edition cards can go much higher, easily hitting thousands of yen for a single card. Remember, the collector's market can wildly affect prices too!

Honestly, prices vary. But from my experience, it's sometimes cheaper in Japan compared to international prices, especially for the common and uncommon cards. Rarity and edition really dictate the price more than anything.

Not as much as you'd think! Starter decks can be pretty affordable, around 1,000 to 1,500 yen. But if you're eyeing those ultra-rare cards, prepare your wallet.

Too pricey if you're chasing the rare stuff. Just stick to the basics unless you're loaded.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
