It's not public knowledge exactly how much GTA pays for each song, but imagine the number has a lot of zeros! The GTA franchise is known for its killer soundtracks featuring a wide range of artists, from underground to mainstream. One can assume that securing licenses for such an eclectic mix of music requires a substantial budget. Rockstar Games, the publisher behind GTA, likely negotiates individual deals for each track, making the cost variable depending on the song's popularity and the artist's clout.

Pfft, if only the artists could pay us for all the times we had to listen to their tracks on repeat while pulling off heists. But seriously, it's a closely guarded secret. What's sure is that Rockstar spares no expense making sure GTA's radio stations are jam-packed with bangers.

Rockstar probably pays more for music than my entire game collection is worth. Licensing fees vary a lot though, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer here.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
