Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 has about 50% filler because it diverged from the manga. Brotherhood is almost entirely canon. Watch Brotherhood for the true story!

In the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist series, almost half of it diverges from the manga and is considered filler. Brotherhood, however, sticks closely to the manga with very minimal filler. Enjoy diving into the world of alchemy!

Brotherhood is the way to go if you want minimal filler. The 2003 series, not so much!

I watched both series, and I gotta say, FMA 2003 has a ton of filler since it caught up to the manga. Brotherhood is much more faithful with pretty much no filler.

If you're a Fullmetal Alchemist fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
