GTA 5 launched with a price tag of $60 for the standard edition on most platforms. It was the usual price for AAA titles back in 2013 when it was released.

Honestly, it was about the price of a new, blockbuster video game - $60. Though if you were super into it and grabbed the special editions, that cost was way higher.

$60? Yep, that sounds about right for big game releases. GTA V was no exception when it rolled onto the scene.

GTA 5? Launched at $60, but the true cost was all the hours we willingly gave to Los Santos. Worth every penny and minute, though.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
