A Blood Moon in Terraria is pretty much like that coworker who shows up unannounced at your place; it has a 1 in 9 chance (or about 11.11%) of happening each night once you've got over 120 life points. So, stock up on those potions and sharpen your swords, because it's not sending a calendar invite!

Blood Moons? Oh, they love crashing the party every so often. Picture this: just as you're getting comfy, bam, there's an 11.11% chance each night for one to occur if your character is beefy enough (120+ HP). Pack extra arrows, trust me.

Honestly, not as often as you'd think but still enough to keep you on your toes. Make sure your base is Blood Moon proof unless you enjoy unexpected guests.

Rare, but not rare enough. Seems like whenever I'm about to do something important in Terraria, the sky turns red. Sigh.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
