The oldest Pokemon cards date back to 1996 when Pokemon Trading Card Game first launched in Japan. So, they're closing in on 27 years old! These include classics like the original Base Set Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur. Imagine the stories they could tell if cards could talk!

Just a quick note - it's not about the age, but the memories and the joy these cards bring. Anyway, the oldest ones are from 1996. Still a cool piece of trivia!

27 years, give or take. The Pokemon TCG hit the scene in '96 in Japan. It's wild to think those pieces of cardboard are almost three decades old!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
