U gotta be 18 to buy GTA 5 cause it's rated M for Mature. That means it's considered suitable for adults because of its violence, language, and mature themes. Some places might ask for ID to prove your age before they sell it to ya.

Just get someone older to buy it for you, problem solved. ?

Honestly, it depends on where you're buying. Most stores stick to the 18+ rule coz of the rating, but if you're getting it as a gift or buying online, things can get a bit blurry.

18+, no exceptions. That's the rule for buying M-rated games like GTA 5. Keep in mind, buying it for someone younger is a no-go officially, but we all know it happens.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
