Placement matches in Valorant are pretty straightforward. When you first decide to dive into competitive mode, you gotta play 5 placement matches. These matches determine your initial rank based on your performance, not just whether you win or lose. They look at how well you play, your kill count, how much you assist your team, and so on. So even if your team loses, but you've been acing it, you can still land a decent rank. After these 5 matches, you get your shiny new rank and start your climb or descent!

Actually, placement matches can feel like a rollercoaster. It's all about showing your best game. Win or lose, just make sure you're the MVP!

Honestly, I think too much emphasis is put on placement matches. You'll end up where you belong eventually, just enjoy the game!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
