First off, both of you need a deck of Pokemon TCG cards. If you're playing the physical game, just meet up, set up your play area, and follow the basic rules of the game. Start by deciding who goes first, draw seven cards to start, and then alternate turns where you play Pokemon, attach energy, and battle! If you're going digital, you can play using Pokemon TCG Live. Just add your friend, challenge them to a match, and you're all set!

Super simple: grab a deck, sit across from your friend, and play IRL. Or just challenge them on Pokemon TCG Live. Easy peasy.

Honestly, just make sure your deck is stacked (fairly, of course) and ready to crush your friend's dreams in a fun way! Good luck, may the best trainer win!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
