To switch from 8x to 4x zoom in PUBG Mobile, just go to your settings and enable the 'scope' settings. Then, while using the 8x scope in-game, you can swipe up or down to adjust the zoom level. Easy peasy!

Just go into the game settings and enable advanced scope settings. Then you can adjust your 8x scope to 4x by swiping or tapping on the screen while aiming.

You can't. PUBG Mobile doesn't allow you to switch an 8x scope to 4x.
