To access the console in Valheim, open the game, go to Steam, right-click on Valheim, select 'Properties,' and in the 'General' tab, add -console to the launch options box. Then, in-game, press F5 to open the console.

Back in 2021, I had to use the launch option -console in Steam properties for Valheim. After that, hit F5 to open it in-game!
