On Android, head to Settings, tap Apps & notifications, find PUBG Mobile, and flip the switch for Storage under Permissions. For iOS, go to Settings, find PUBG Mobile, and enable Storage there. Simple as that!

I had the same issue. Just go to Settings > Apps > PUBG Mobile > Permissions > Storage. Took me less than a minute, and I was back in the game!
