To activate the training dummies in Apex Legends, you gotta do a bit of sneaky work in the firing range first. Head over there and drop all your gear. Then, go up to one of the little platforms on the far right, look down into the pit, and change Legends. Bam! Those dummies will come to life and start moving around, giving you something a bit livelier to shoot at.
Honestly, why bother? Training against moving dummies is overrated. Just practice your aim in real matches.
I tried it, and it's legit! Dropping all your gear and switching Legends while looking down in the firing range brings those dummies to life. Makes for a much better practice session!
