Just slap that barbed hook onto your fiberglass or iridium rod. Can't use it with the basic one. Upgrade your rod, open inventory, click and drag the hook to the rod. Easy peasy.

Adding a barbed hook in Stardew Valley is quite straightforward once you have the tackle. First, make sure you've upgraded your fishing rod to at least the fiberglass level, because the basic rod won't support it. Then, open your inventory, pick up the barbed hook, and place it on the rod in one of the tackle slots. Voila! You're all set to catch some fish with your newly equipped barbed hook.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
