Adding a bobber in Stardew Valley is like giving your fishing game a cheat code, but totally legit. Make sure your fishing rod is not the bamboo stick; that thing’s as basic as it gets and won’t let you attach any bobbers. Snag a fiberglass or iridium rod, click on the bobber in your inventory, and with the power of clicking (or tapping), attach it to your rod. Easy peasy.

First things first, you gotta have the fishing rod that can actually use a bobber! Either the fiberglass rod or the iridium rod – those are your go-to. Once you've got one of those, open your inventory, select the bobber you want to use (you gotta buy or craft it first), and then right-click (or whatever the equivalent is on your game device) on the rod. Voila, you're all set to catch some big ones with your newly equipped bobber!

Just buy the iridium rod and click the bobber onto it. Simple.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
