Adding friends in Terraria is super easy if both of you are on Steam. Just use the Steam overlay with SHIFT+TAB, find your buddy's profile, and invite them to your game. If you're not playing on PC, most consoles have a built-in friends system. For Xbox and PlayStation, use their respective dashboard to add friends, then invite them through the game's multiplayer menu!
Honestly, just hit them up on Discord and swap Steam IDs. Terraria's more fun when you're yelling at each other over voice chat about who used all the wood.
