Just launch the Xbox Console Companion app, click on the 'Friends & clubs' tab, and then enter your friend's gamertag in the search bar!

Open the Xbox app on your PC, sign in, and then use the 'Find friends' option to search by gamertag. Easy peasy!

Adding friends? Go to the Xbox Game Bar (Win+G), click on the 'Social' widget, and from there, you can search for and add friends. Simple as that!

In my experience, using the Xbox app is the quickest. Open it, sign in, and you’ll find a 'Friend Finder' option. Find your friend and hit 'Add friend.' Ready for some co-op action!
