You need to use the customization options in the hangar. Go to the 'Customization' tab, find the right decal, and slap that spiral on your nose like a pro!

Had the same question once! All you gotta do is head to the hangar, hit 'Customization', and apply a decal to the nose section of your plane. Enjoy your fly-as-heck spiral!
