Not possible to directly add PUBG Mobile players on Steam. You both would need to own the PC version to connect through Steam. Sorry!

Unfortunately, you can鈥檛 directly add PUBG Mobile players on Steam. PUBG Mobile and PUBG on Steam are two different platforms. If you both have Steam, you can add each other as friends there.

I had the same issue. You need to play the PC version of PUBG and add each other on Steam. Two different games, two different ecosystems!
