Try using 'Toggle Crouch' to get a better view when close to objects. It often helps the camera readjust itself.

Honestly, just zoom in your FOV in the settings. It makes a huge difference.

I recommend tweaking the camera distance in the settings menu. Go to Options > Controls > Camera and adjust the 'Field of View' slider.
