Yep, aiming down sights (ADS) in PUBG on PS5 is done by holding down the L2 button. If you just tap it, you'll toggle aiming instead.

As someone who plays PUBG almost daily, just hold L2 to aim down sights. Tapping it just toggles between aims. Happy hunting!
