Here's a trick: Go to Steam Library > Right-click on TF2 > Properties > Set Launch Options, then type '-heapsize 4194304' for 8GB RAM. Works like a charm!

RAM allocation won't actually improve performance in TF2. Focus on other optimizations like lowering settings or upgrading your hardware.

Easy peasy! Just add the launch option '-heapsize' followed by half of your RAM in kilobytes. For example, if you have 8GB of RAM, you would use '-heapsize 4194304'.
