Actually, I had the same problem and thought my mic was broken! Turns out, you just need to enable it in the settings like everyone says. But also, restart your phone after changing the settings. Worked like a charm for me!

To allow Rec Room microphone access on iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone. Look for Rec Room in the app list and toggle the switch to the green position to enable mic access. Make sure to do this before you start the game so you're all set for voice chat!

Just dive into your iPhone settings and hit up that Privacy tab. Tap Microphone, scroll until you find Rec Room, and flip that switch on. Easy peasy, now go talk your heart out!
