Just a heads up, you can't bait the basic Bamboo Rod. Upgrade to a Fiberglass Rod or the Iridium Rod, then open your inventory, grab the bait with 'A', and attach it to the rod with 'Y'. Happy fishing!

Easy peasy! First, make sure you've got a fishing rod that can actually hold bait (the Bamboo Rod won't cut it). If you have the Fiberglass Rod or better, open your inventory, select the bait, then press 'A' to pick it up. Hover over the rod and hit 'Y' to attach the bait. Voila, you're all set to catch some fish!

Guys, remember, you need the right rod. Bamboo Rod = no bait for you. Only Fiberglass and Iridium Rods can be baited. It's a simple 'A', then 'Y' move. Don't overthink it.

Honestly, fishing's easier without bait. Just grab any rod and go for it. Who needs bait anyway? ?

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
