To attach a bobber in Stardew Valley on your Switch, first, make sure you've upgraded your fishing rod to at least a Fiberglass Rod, since the basic Bamboo Pole won't allow you to use tackle. Honestly, it's all about the rod upgrade. No fancy rod, no bobber. Upgrade and then it's just drag and drop.
