How to attack a hero in Total War Warhammer 2

First, select your army and move it close to the hero you want to attack. Then, click on the hero with your army selected. They should engage and you can enjoy the spectacle of battle!

Don't bother attacking heroes; focus on their armies. Heroes aren't usually worth the effort unless they're causing real trouble!

Short and sweet: You can't directly attack a hero with an army. Use your own hero to target the enemy hero.

If you want to attack an enemy hero, you have to use your own hero. Select your hero, get close to the enemy hero, and click on them. It's hero showdown time!

Used to struggle with this myself! Just make sure your hero is chosen, hover over the enemy hero until the attack icon appears, and let the duel commence.
