Muskmelon Seeds, Floating Turtle farming, then Alchemist NPC. Done!
From my experience, you'll need to farm 30 Muskmelon Seeds from enemies on Floating Turtle and then trade them with the Alchemist NPC located on Home Island to awaken your Mink race.
First, make sure you're a Mink. Then, collect 30x Muskmelon Seeds by defeating any enemies on the Floating Turtle. Trade them at the NPC Alchemist on the Home Island to start the awakening process. Happy hunting!
