Backing up your Stardew Valley save is pretty straightforward! If you're on PC, just navigate to your save file location, usually found in 'C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley\Saves'. Just copy the entire folder for your save game and paste it somewhere safe. For console and mobile, it's a bit trickier since you'll need to check if the platform supports cloud saves or use a USB for consoles.

Just cloud save it, lol. Most platforms have cloud saves now. Easiest backup method ever.

I learned the hard way that not backing up saves can lead to tears and heartache. After my little cousin decided that all my crops needed to meet the business end of a virtual hammer, backing up became my new religion. For PC, it鈥檚 a simple copy-paste job from the save location to wherever you feel safe. For other devices, I stick to cloud saves when possible, and honestly, it's saved me more times than I can count.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
