To be a DH (Designated Hitter) in MLB The Show, select the American League team or choose 'No DH' rules and manually set your position to DH. Just focus on hitting homers, not fielding!

Pick an American League team, then set your player to the DH spot in the lineup. Boom, you're a designated hitter!

You can't be a DH in Road to the Show because it's a fielding position, bro. Focus on other roles!
