To beat Asgore in the Pacifist route, keep fighting until his HP is very low, then choose to Spare him. Alphys will interrupt and help you out!

Just keep attacking Asgore until he's almost down, then choose to Spare him when you get the option. It'll trigger some story events.

You can't kill Asgore in Pacifist because, well, it's a Pacifist run! Just get his health low and hit Spare.

From experience, you need to drop Asgore's HP until he stops fighting back, then choose Spare. Works every time!

When fighting Asgore, bring him down to low health and then choose to Spare. That's how you get through it without killing him!
