Stopping corruption in Terraria is key to a peaceful world. First off, sunflowers! Plant them at corruption's edges; they stop it from spreading in the early game. Next up, dig a trench at least 6 blocks wide around the areas you want to protect. Corruption can't jump across this gap. For an extra layer of security, line your trenches with non-corruptible blocks like wood or clay. Last but not least, use the Clentaminator. It's a tool you can get from the Steampunker NPC after defeating one of the mechanical bosses. It shoots solutions that clean or spread biomes, including getting rid of corruption.

Just dig a big gap around it, at least 6 blocks wide. Easy.

Honestly? Just keep the Dryad handy and buy a bunch of Purification Powder. It's not the best method, but it's quick and works in a pinch if you're exploring or caught off-guard by spreading corruption.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
