You can only destroy a ward if you have building permissions. Ask the ward's owner to give you access or to remove it themselves.

Equip a hammer, go into your build menu, and remove the ward by right-clicking and selecting 'deconstruct'!

Have permissions? Go to build mode, right-click on the ward, and choose to dismantle it. Boom, gone.
