Building a sawmill is super easy, you just need 10 wood, a couple of iron or lead bars, and a chain. If you can't find the sawmill in your crafting menu, make sure you're standing right next to a Work Bench. That's Terraria 101!

To build a sawmill in Terraria, you first need to gather 10 wood, 2 iron or lead bars, and 1 chain. You make the chain from an iron or lead bar at an anvil. Once you've got all the materials, head to a Work Bench, open your crafting menu, and you should see the sawmill in the list of craftable items. Just click on it, and bam, you've got yourself a sawmill!

Honestly, just buy Terraria. It's worth every penny, and figuring out stuff like building a sawmill is part of the fun.

You're overthinking it. It's just 10 wood, 2 bars (iron or lead), and 1 chain at a Work Bench. Simple.
