You don't actually 'buy' agents in Valorant as you do cosmetics! When you start playing Valorant, you’ll automatically get two agents for free. Then, as you play, you’ll unlock two more agents by completing their activation contracts up to Tier 5. Want more agents? Just keep playing and leveling up their individual contracts, or if you're in a hurry, you can use Valorant Points (VP) to instantly unlock them.

Short answer: Play more, unlock more. No need to spend unless you're really impatient.

I had to learn this the hard way but here's the deal – you earn agents by playing a lot. When I started playing Valorant, I was confused about why I couldn’t just buy the agents straight away. Turns out, it’s all about those contracts. So, definitely focus on completing those agent activation contracts; it makes the game even more rewarding. Plus, it feels awesome unlocking an agent without dropping real cash.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
