To call back Mr. Handy to your vault in Fallout Shelter, just tap on him outside in the Wasteland and select 'Recall'. Remember, he can collect caps even while he's out exploring, but he can't die, so no stress if you forget him out there for a bit!

Just tap on Mr. Handy when he's out in the Wasteland and hit 'Recall' - he'll start his journey back. Beware, though, he doesn't speed up like dwellers. Mr. Handy takes his sweet time.
You can't really 'call back' Mr. Handy if by 'call back' you mean summon him instantly to the vault. He has to physically travel back. So, hit 'Recall', and then wait patiently (or impatiently) for his slow, albeit loyal, return to your vault's door.
Honestly, just leave Mr. Handy out there collecting caps. He's immortal, and his return journey is painfully slow. More caps for you!
