Tried this, worked like a charm. It's hilarious how sometimes you accidentally carjack someone when you just wanted a ride. Make sure to press the button when the taxi is nearby but not too close!

In GTA 4, getting a taxi is super easy! Just press the 'E' key on PC, the 'LB' button on Xbox, or the 'L1' button on PlayStation when you're close to a taxi but not too close. If you're too close, you might end up carjacking it instead. Then, enjoy your ride to any destination you want!

Honestly, who needs a taxi? Just steal a car and drive yourself. Much faster and you get to practice your getaway skills. Just saying.

Just whistle. No, seriously, press the button to target a taxi and then hail it by pressing the call button. Niko will whistle, and the taxi should pull over for you. If it doesn't, it's probably because it's busy or you're doing it wrong.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
