To capture an airfield in War Thunder, land your aircraft within the marked area on the airfield and make sure your team's dominance bar (at the top of your screen) fills up. Secure the area by shooting down enemy planes that try to contest it, and keep an eye out for any sneaky ground units!

Just land your plane on the airfield and stay there a bit. Your team gets the capture once the bar fills up.

Land on the airfield and stay there while the capture bar fills up. Shooting enemies from the ground isn't just optional; it's mandatory if you want to hold it!

Pro tip: Capture the airfield faster by making sure no enemies are nearby. A clean area means a quicker bar fill.

It's all about air superiority. Keep the skies clear of enemies while you or a teammate land on the airfield.
