Unfortunately, you can't carry cooked food in The Forest! Best to eat it while it's fresh or dry your meat for future munchies.
Cooked food can't be carried in The Forest, but you can dry your meat on a drying rack to take it with you later!
I've tried everything, but carrying cooked food just isn't an option in this game. Drying meat works wonders, though!
