Catching a puffer fish in Stardew Valley requires some patience! First off, you can only catch them in the summer, from 12 PM to 4 PM. Make sure you're fishing in the ocean during these times. Honestly, just buy it at the Traveling Cart if you can. Fishing for it can be a real pain.

Good luck, you'll need it! Puffer fish are a summer-only catch and super picky about time. Fish in the ocean between noon and 4 PM. And honestly, just keep trying. The RNG gods can be cruel in Stardew.
