Catching a Rainbow Trout in Stardew Valley is all about timing and location! Make sure you're fishing during the summer, between 6 AM and 7 PM in-game time. You can find them in rivers, so aim your rod there. Also, it doesn't hurt to upgrade your fishing rod and use bait to increase your chances. Happy fishing!

Pro tip: The Traveling Cart sometimes sells Rainbow Trout. So, if fishing isn't your thing or you're out of season, check there. I snagged a couple without even touching a rod!
