Sardines are slippery little fishies, but you can catch them! Ocean is your go-to spot during spring and fall before nightfall. Use that fishing rod wisely and keep an eye on the time—early bird gets the worm, or in this case, the sardine.

To catch a sardine in Stardew Valley, you need to fish in the ocean during spring or fall, and make sure it's between 6 AM and 7 PM in-game time. Good luck, and may the fish be ever in your favor!

Honestly, catching sardines is more about patience than anything else. Cast your line in the ocean during the right seasons and times, and you'll snag one eventually. Worked for me on my third try!

Just fish in the ocean in spring/fall, easy peasy. No need to overcomplicate it.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
