Just go to the desert and fish. You don't need anything fancy, any fishing pole and bait will do. It's all about where, not how.

Catching a Scarab Fish in Terraria is pretty straightforward but needs a bit of prep. First, make sure you're fishing in the desert biome – that's their favorite hangout. You'll need a fishing pole and some bait, obviously. The higher your fishing power, the better your chances, so consider using fishing potions or gear that boosts your fishing skills. Be patient, fish during the day, and soon you'll reel in that shiny Scarab Fish!

Honestly, catching Scarab Fish isn't worth the effort. There are better things to do in Terraria.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
