Changing a Terraria world to expert mode isn't something you can do in-game after the world's been created. Expert mode is a choice you make at world creation. However, if you're feeling adventurous and tech-savvy, there are third-party tools like TEdit that can tweak your world's settings, including difficulty. Just remember, messing with game files can lead to unexpected issues, so always backup your world before diving into it.

Short answer: You can't, not without external tools. Once you pick a difficulty setting for your world in Terraria, it's set for good. If you wanna play in expert mode, you gotta make a new world and select expert during the setup.

Actually, you can change a world to expert with tools like TEdit. I've done it before to spice up the challenge after getting bored of normal mode. It's not too hard, but backup your world first!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
