How to change ammo in War Thunder
You gotta go to the 'modifications' menu of your vehicle. There, you can select different types of ammo for your tank, plane, or ship by researching them if they’re not already unlocked. Just pick your preferred ammo type and equip it!

In the hangar, click on the vehicle, then ‘Loadout’. You can then pick and choose your ammo types. Happy tanking!
It's super easy – just hit 'M' during a match to bring up the ammo selection menu and switch to whatever you need. Boom!
Changing ammo is quick in the heat of battle – simply press the ammo switch key (default is '1' for the next ammo type)!
