How to change Audio Output in Apex Legends
CopyingSole路8 months agoChanging your audio output in Apex Legends isn't something you can do directly in the game settings. You'll need to change the default audio output device in your computer's sound settings. Just go to your system's sound settings, find the 'Playback' tab, and set your desired device as the default. Once you've done that, restart Apex Legends, and it should be using your new audio output device. Remember, any changes you make in your system's sound settings will affect all applications, not just Apex.

Actually, it's simpler than messing around in system settings. Just plug in your headset or switch your speakers before you launch Apex Legends. The game usually picks up whatever your default device is at startup. So, if you've got your headset plugged in before you hit play, you should be good to go.
Nope, gotta disagree. Your best bet is changing the default audio device in Windows settings BEFORE you start the game. Apex Legends isn't designed to switch audio outputs on the fly.
