You can't change bots in custom battles. Period. Stick to real players.

From personal experience: head to 'Custom Battles,' select a map, and look for bot customization options under 'Game Options.' Configure as you like and dive in!

Super easy! Just go to the Mission Editor, pick the units you want for each team, and save it. Boom, custom bots!
